Terrifying for me as an adult who was protected, thus today see clearly once the protection was released. 

Do you mean to say as black boy this is what our men today experienced as American boys?  It is hurtful to now see the decisions the young black children on the streets feel. 

I feel sad. And proud to see the youth black boys having made their own way successfully.  Some didn’t and I learned through News that many in prison got their high school diplomas even there. 

I never thought of it as my experiences as an adult let loose from protection by killing a wonderful mother – was the child black boy who didn’t have such a loving knowledgeable mom like Wilma. 

So the men or some one is fucking the little boys and fucking them over – the way mom kept me away from the snakes?
